About Renewal Counselling
Fred Schuman opened Renewal Counselling in 1993 as an independently owned and operated counselling service in Calgary. Fred has a Master's Degree in Biblical Counselling, and has been practising psychotherapy and counselling since 1977. He is proud to offer Christian counselling services to individuals and families within the community.

Marriage and Family Counselling
Marriage counseling helps couples recognize and resolve conflicts and improve their relationships. Marriage counseling typically includes both partners, but sometimes one partner chooses to work with a counsellor alone.
Counselling can be in-person or over the phone.
Disability Counselling
Living with a disability can be a long journey, both mentally and physically. It can be just as tough for those who live with, or care for a disabled person. Friends and family may too find it difficult to come to terms with the condition, as well as adapting to a lifestyle that involves new challenges. Disability counselling will help you and your loved ones cope with a disability.
